For those who are curious of what this letter states, I had just scanned my copy for all of you. My case was received by NVC April 03, 2009. I receive the notice in the mail last night, April 09, 2009. I wanted to share this with all of the people on VJ.

I heard that my case was forwarded to Seoul Embassy on April 06, 2009, although, Seoul Embassy did not receive it yet, it should arrive sometimes next week.

For those of you applying K1 Visa through Seoul Embassy, Packet # 3 will be sent through email. Nothing will be mailed... DS 230 Forms should be filled out and faxed back or sent back via mail. Then you schedule an interview date & before the interview date, make sure everything is completed.

I called the Seoul Embassy yesterday, they are very friendly and helpful.

Thank you so much for posting this. We never received ours, though the consulate does have our petition and we're getting ready for the interview.

I've been told that this is not necessary, but I've been curious nonetheless. We do have the paper copy of NOA2, so we're ready for AOS.

I realize that there is no consistency in the forms that USCIS sends out and NVC sends out. For example: for NOA2, some of us received NOA2 stating that petition forwarded to consulate... some stated on NOA2 stating that petition forwarded to NVC..... Some people never receives this notice from NVC. Some never receives any touches and updates on the USCIS website status. There is just no consistency !

But I thought it would be nice to just share all of my experience with friends on VJ.

Anyhow, i think once its on embassy level, every embassy is different. ^-^ ...

Standard letter. The USCIS always says they are forwarding it to "the consulate" but they always do so through the NVC.
