My candy (legal) wedding will hopefully be on December 31 2009.

A good thing about us all having our legal wedding around the same time is that we'll be going through AOS together. YIPEE!

08/04/2010 - Green Card received (and it's actually green!)

05/30/2012 - Sent ROC packet to VSC

I'm thinking ours will likely be the 23rd... Gives me a little bit of time to get settled in, apply for SSN, etc.

It's not going to be anything fancy, so really, may just decide the week before, haha.

I just noticed your POE is the Ambassador Bridge... us to! I think it will be on 12/30 though. I hope the holidays dont make things too crazy :(

Ben's taking two weeks off - one to spend with my family for Christmas, and then he wants to spend a couple of days with some friends of his down in Ohio, him and I. Personally, I'm a wee bit worried of the logistics (mainly the fact that all of my ####### will be in the back of his Tacoma...), but I guess we'll have to see. That's the plan for now, anyhow...

I agree 100%, though, I sincerely hope the holidays don't make things too crazy.

I'll be POE-ing at the Ambassador as well. If it wasn't for Christmas, I'd move over as soon as I got my visa....but...I want to spend some time with family at Christmas, so we're thinking of moving me over Dec. 28 or 29.

I once asked a border officer what is the best time to move over....he said a Tuesday night around 7pm. But the week between Christmas & New Years might be busier than usual!

I anticipate a lengthly "AOSers 2010" thread in our futures.

Same here. It just worked out easier to move during the holidays, as it was easier to get enough time off to do so. But 7pm... Oi. I'd be nerve-wracked all day simply waiting for that! They'll just have to deal with me (and rush hour) first thing in the morning, heh.

That is totally awesome.

Totally.

The chapel I'm booking with in Las Vegas sends out Invitations at no extra cost, I'm pretty thankful for it.

I have a link to the professional pictures we had done!! Yahooooo They turned out well, and she got some GREAT facial expressions in some of them. We waited till we came home to have a session with just the two of us...not in wedding dress...so I'll post that link later when she gets it up online too...

I went backwards earlier and it looked like you two were regurgitating cake, it was kinda funny.

They're such cute photos, I loved the whole collecting money with the shoes.

Those are FABULOUS pictures, Joyce! There were some really beautiful artistic shots in there. Were you singing as you were walking down the aisle?

Can't wait to see yours too, Minnew!!!

Thanks! Yes, we sang to "When God made you" I had a cold though so it didn't sound as nice as I would have liked..

I really liked the way our photographer did the pictures. Was a nice surprise to see them.

Yours will be fantastic Minnew!

 I guess it did look like that!! I was trying to smear it all over his face but he wouldn't let me!! We got a video of that part, it's really funny to watch. He didn't trust me... *wonder why?*

Oh yeah, some of the grooms men "kidnapped" Tim and I had to collect $250 in ransom money! They actually left and drove around town. We had just married flags in the windows of the limo. When they stopped at a red light, a guy did a double take to see two MEN in the back of a "just married" limo....
