Does anyone have any suggestions or ideas about bridal lingerie or corsets?

I don't know where to look, and I kind of sucked in my gut for my fitting so I'm going to need a corset.

I live in a town with nothing lingerie related store wise, and I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions as to what stores are good at all.

My fiance and I chose January 27th, 2010. (That I know of so far, haha)

We didn't really have a date to choose, so I found a reasoning behind January 27th.

It's kind of a linear thing.

My Birthday is November 27th, my parents' anniversary is December 27th.

So, January 27th for us.

At least this is what I'm counting on, I think my fiance agrees, I only mentioned it before I was leaving... all he said was "I'll mention it to my mom."

This is our date, either they make it or not.

Sheesh.

That sounds like a good idea Rhiann :) I like the idea of having them all in order (I like when things go in line like that... which is why I so desperately wanted a January wedding). I'm flip-flopping between January 10th, 20th, or 23rd.

btw...your signature says your wedding is Jan 27th 2009

I've been typing 2009 so much that I automatically type it

I use the # keys above the letters, so 2010 is a bit harder to type than 2009.

Lol we could all end up with anniversaries within days of each other! Because we are driving I won't be getting to Cali until about the 16th or so, so sometime between the 16th and 28th is when we will be doing it. Not idea exactly what date except that it can't be on the 18th because of Martin Luther King's birthday.

Ben's taking two weeks off - one to spend with my family for Christmas, and then he wants to spend a couple of days with some friends of his down in Ohio, him and I. Personally, I'm a wee bit worried of the logistics (mainly the fact that all of my ####### will be in the back of his Tacoma...), but I guess we'll have to see. That's the plan for now, anyhow...

I agree 100%, though, I sincerely hope the holidays don't make things too crazy.

Yeah, I have to figure this out too.

I might just get my mom to bring it down when they come down for the wedding.

I can't really carry a dress and a dog at the same time haha.

I have a bra/corset top combo I got from David's Bridal. It is pretty awesome actually. One piece, no visible ribbing, smooth texture. I don't remember exactly how much it cost, but I don't think it was much more than say, $50? It was fairly comfortable on and can be worn again if a formal occasion comes up.

I'm happy you can all start to set real wedding dates! That's great :)
