Yep, Number #1 for me too.

When I was first looking into wedding dresses I wanted something very simple and plain as well. I later changed my mind but there is something to be said for simple elegance. I'm thinking about having a smaller second ceremony later down the road in Canada, perhaps a vow renewal or something my family who couldn't come to the wedding can witness... If I do, I want a tea length dress! They look so cute.

Amazing! I love, love your bouquet and all the roses you used in your hair and on the cake. And the pictures of you on the rocks by the ocean are simply the best! I'm glad everything turned out so lovely for you!

It's actually a Bill Levkoff bridesmaid dress that came in white. It cost a grand total of $258.

The location of the wedding was my Dad's garden. The pictures with the beach in the background were taken at a park ten minutes from there.

I'm also very lucky that my uncle is one of the best photographers in Bermuda. The picures were a wedding gift.

It was really a perfect day.

Beautiful wedding, Catherine - with a beautiful bride - and an obviously happy groom! :)

Edited by Kathryn41

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”

This came up in another thread, and thought I'd share this here... since many of us are or will be going through name changes.

You can go to the website MsNowMrs.com and if you sign up for their service, you can download the forms (as many as you need) and send them in. They have forms for changing SSN cards, bank accounts, etc.

I mailed off my invites today! It cost way more money then I thought. Thanks to the ribbon the envelopes were too big and I had to pay extra postage, and then sit there and affix 4 stamps to each envelope (the ones going to the US of A). To make it better, they were lickable stamps. Welcome to the 21st century Canada Post! Oh well, they ended up so pretty the extra money was well worth it. Even though my invites now have butterfly, caterpillar and dragonfly stamps all over them...

Ugh, I know right? At least she was nice and gave me a cup of water. She was going to do them all for me but there was a line forming and I felt bad making everyone wait so I said I would just do them myself. Thankfully I just happened to have my mom and sister with me and they helped! I'm pretty happy they are out and in the mail! Hopefully the crazy post office lady knew what she was doing.
