I am going to have a huge issue finding a wedding photographer with me having done like 6 weddings now. I will be so picky!

As good as the wedding photographer is - it helps when the bride is willing to try new things. Maybe I will have to go thru the galleries and see all the shots I love that I took when the bride was unsure but agreed.

During our engagement session we told our photographer we'd do anything he wanted. And we did. We got down in the grass and we rolled around. We were like two little kids running around in a park.

It was really the most fun I've had in a very long time.

I just got my nails done.

I bled like 3 times from my cuticals being taken off

PINK NAILS.

I went to one that's run by chinese people (cause of my sisterinlaw) and they were all commenting on my skin about how soft it is and such. The one lady was like "I have to take vitamin C and E and my skin doesn't get like that". I was telling her about how I was getting married to a chinese man and she was trying to sell off to me about how they're hard workers, great family men, etc. You think I didn't know this already? Harhar.

And you're so pretty, Reven!

Your hair is amazing.

Eww...getting nails done is painful! re: Chinese men, LOL! Guess I went again the grain and got me a Black man!

Thanks for the compliments!

The most painful part in my opinion is when she was using the file on my nails. She must have taken off some skin!

Don't think I'd ever get it done again.

My sister in law wanted to get me fake nails, but no thanks. I'd probably try to bite them off... I have a bad habit of doing so.

Yes, getting a good photographer is worth every penny! I you can afford it, get the ones who belong to WPJA and have done some commercial photography work. I cheaped out on makeup, hair, nails, wedding dress, wedding cake for the photography.

Rhiann, some fake nails can look really good and will last longer than say a regular French manicure. I got French manicure a couple of day before my engagement shoot but they wore off! Couldn't beleive it. So I got acrylic nails done the night before but at a premium because of the short notice.

Reading all your wedding planning makes me a little nostalgic! I love looking at your wedding dress selections. Mine cost $50 on e-bay, from a factory in Shanghai.

My daughter just called to tell me it's official with the church. She's pretty excited. :luv: They have a 3:00pm wedding and a 5:45pm rehearsal the day before. Now they just have to make a decision about the choir. It's pretty pricey. They've got the bell-ringer, though. lol

I luck out on this....I was a member of our choir for 6 years in high school, and I'm a member of the church - our choir wouldn't accept payment if I TRIED! Oh, and my aunt's the choir director  The choir is singing three songs - "The Lord's Prayer" (lighting the unity candle), "Love Is" (during the seating of the mothers), and "In the Hands of the Lord" (right after we're both at the altar). They've already distributed programs - and tissue boxes - for the choir loft, and the entire choir will be joining us at the rehersal and rehersal dinner tomorrow!

I think at this point everything is done (except our house being clean, but we're working on that), except decorating the hall tomorrow!

Today is my last day at work as a "single" lady :)

Oh, and we picked up our rings the other night! Preeeeettttttty!

They've got the bell-ringer, though. lol

I should probably explain the above. lol. The bell ringer rings the church bells in the steeple after the wedding. It's a very old church so they have the most wonderful bells. I love hearing them! It reminds me of the churches in England.

Oh, wow, Scooter! Your rehearsal is tomorrow! That's so exciting! That's fabulous that you get the choir for free.... and especially that your aunt's the choir director!

Good luck! Can't wait to hear all about it!!
