Reading all your wedding planning makes me a little nostalgic! I love looking at your wedding dress selections. Mine cost $50 on e-bay, from a factory in Shanghai.

To other brides, I don't recommend buying your wedding dress on ebay though--the $50 dress was decent for the kind of wedding I had, but you need a $$$$ photographer to make it look great, LOL.

Here's more shots of that dress:

Thanks! :-) A good photographer works magic! They can make your sweetie look like he's running with series of funny still poses, lol, and photoshop off anything. E.g. In this pic, the photographer made us jump up but in the picture we look like we're running away from the plane.

I just got my nails done.

I bled like 3 times from my cuticals being taken off

PINK NAILS.

I went to one that's run by chinese people (cause of my sisterinlaw) and they were all commenting on my skin about how soft it is and such. The one lady was like "I have to take vitamin C and E and my skin doesn't get like that". I was telling her about how I was getting married to a chinese man and she was trying to sell off to me about how they're hard workers, great family men, etc. You think I didn't know this already? Harhar.

And you're so pretty, Reven!

Your hair is amazing.

Oh my goodness I love the pictures!!!

My photographer is by far the most expensive thing we're having at the wedding. But I feel that pictures are the most important part of the day. 50 years from now when we're both old and gray, we'll be able to look back on our pictures and remember how perfect the day was. My photographer studied photojournalism instead of photography in school, and I really think that it shows. There's none of that posing stuff, it's all natural. He'll tell us to do something(like jump, for instance), and then shoot it at the perfect angle.

My avatar on here is from our engagement session and all he had told us to do was lean against the stone column. Mathew had said something funny and I hugged him and that's when he got this shot. It makes everything feel way more real if it's a natural moment, and not something that's forced.

Of course, if you've got a great photographer, none of that matters.

On another, and more grumpy note, I'm really getting annoyed with savethedatemagic.com. We ordered the save the dates 2 days ago and I'm still going around and around in circles with them about the proofs. She'll email me something, I'll answer within 2 minutes, and I wont get another reply until a few hours later. It's just SO frustrating!

That's so funny. Reminds me of one of my friends back home. She's married to a man from Hong Kong.

A group of us ladies were sitting around talking one day. One of the ladies was a Filipino. When she found out Helen's husband was Chinese she said.."ohhhh they make great lovers" We all looked at Helen and said..."Really...do tell"...Course she meant the same as what you were told, hard workers, attentive to their wife, etc.

Poor Helen...was her face red!!

Okay, you guys twisted my arm ;P Here is my dress! The first picture is with an applique on, the second without ... I'm not sure which I like better. Thoughts?

Gorgeous dress Ali!! It looks great both ways, but my vote goes towards the applique. It just gives it a little extra sparkle :)

I can't believe the wedding is only 3 days away. I mean, it's awesome, I just can't get over the fact that I'm actually getting married  Although tying 200 ribbons on 200 programs for the wedding last night kinda made it a bit more real. We got our programs from the great and mystical internets, and Spoom did the design.

I love the programs!! I picked a similar design for our invites that involved tying ribbons on each individual card. Thankfully we only sent out about 60 invites, so It wasn't as painful as it could have been! Doing 200 would probably make me crazy!

Are you using the double hearts anywhere else? We had a little double heart theme going on :) I thought it was cute!

I really, really hate the way that girl looks in it. She makes it look awful. I wish I had taken a picture of me in it that wasn't only of the train. I loooove the train on this dress.

I tried on that dress!! You're right, is it very beautiful, the picture definately doesn't do it justice. Unfortunately the way the bodice hit me made my hips look wider than I would have preferred... To bad, because I loved the detail and the trail! I can't wait to see some pictures of you in it!! :)

This is the only picture I could find on my computer. I'm only 5'3, but the shoes made me a ton taller. I suggest you get HUGE heels.

Awwww what a beautiful picture!! I know a thing or two about being that short and having a tall husband

I keep telling people...."I was nervous when we went to Montreal because I wasn't sure they were going to say yes. Saturday will be easy, I KNOW Spoom will say yes!"

Awwwwwww!! :luv:

Reading all your wedding planning makes me a little nostalgic! I love looking at your wedding dress selections. Mine cost $50 on e-bay, from a factory in Shanghai.

Ohhhh sexy!! ;) Nice picture Raven!

I can't believe how many of you are getting married in the near future! I'm hoping for lots of pictures!! ;)

I am going to have a huge issue finding a wedding photographer with me having done like 6 weddings now. I will be so picky!

As good as the wedding photographer is - it helps when the bride is willing to try new things. Maybe I will have to go thru the galleries and see all the shots I love that I took when the bride was unsure but agreed.

K-1 Visa Process:

Feb 28th: Sent off petition

Mar 8th: E-NOA1 notification

Mar 14th: NOA1 hard copy

June 6th: E-NOA2 notification

Dec 13th: Medical

Dec 13th: Interview (APPROVED!!)

Dec 22nd: Received Visa's - wrong gender on son's visa :(
