I realize this is a public forum, so it's my own fault for posting something like that, and not expecting the psycho-analysis. I posted it mostly as a funny/slightly annoying coincidence, but I'm taking offense at being told by a stranger that they think I still have feelings for my ex. I do NOT, thank you very much. I was the one that broke up with him. I HAVE moved on, and it feels insulting and disrespectful to my current SO to even suggest I still have one iota of feelings towards my ex.

I'm sure I'd be better off just not responding to this at all, but that's not me.

almaty: you don't know me, nor my situation, past, or life... so I don't really appreciate being told by you how I feel. I could go further off on a tangent about that, but I won't, as it'd just be a waste of my time. My 'emotional' response is simply because I believe in being able to set the record straight, and get defensive when I'm accused of something untrue (and also because I actually sort of hate myself for staying with him for so long when I clearly did not love him).

denial is terrible sister...and if you did not have feelings, you will never have started this thread...

ugh forget it... this is ridiculous, and I seriously don't appreciate you trying to be funny and difficult and get a rise out of me, which is clearly what you are trying to do. And congrats on being successful, but really, I'm already in a bad mood because I'm the only one here stuck at my office on a holiday. Speaking of which, I need to get back to work.

I'm not revealing further details about my life to prove to you that I do NOT HAVE FEELINGS FOR HIM AND AM NOT IN DENIAL.

5/5/09 : Interview Date APPROVED!!!!

5/8/09: visa received

From NA01 to interview: 12 LONG MONTHS!!

07/23/09: received SSN

08/17/09: Passed Driving test

08/22/09: Married on beautiful Mackinac Island, MI

08/31/09: Mailed AOS Package

10/20/09: Received AP

10/21/09 Received EAD card

12/7/09 AOS APPROVED!

12/14/09: Green Card arrived in mail. Happy Days!

It's taken 18 months from applying for K1 to receipt of Green Card! Thank God it's over until 12/7/11
