I am not a huge Timmies person, but last year (don't hate LOL! HAHA), I won a $50 Tim's card on roll up the rim.... trust me when I tell you it's the ONLY thing I have won in my life LOL! HAHA!

My cousin who is huge on Tim's was so irritated with me, cause that whole summer, I would get a free coffee or donut almost everytime... I didn't even like their coffee then... I was still on a Starbucks vibe... so it was this on going joke...like I was cursed and she wished it was her lol!

Did I hear someone mention Starbucks?????? MMMMMMmmmmmm... white chocolate peppermint mocha (with an extra pump of peppermint)... yyyyuuummmmmmmmmyyyyyyy I hope the Starbucks isn't too far from the Consulate in MTL. I'll have to scop that out. Standing in line with a yummy Starbucks will be SO much easier! Map from Consulate to Starbucks It IS close enough... fabulous!!!

Sorry, Timmies fans... their coffee is just wayyyy too strong for my delicate palate.

Dont let Len see ur post, lol I never used to drink coffee, well rarely, but once I started drinking Tims, i was hooked! I'm no snob though, will drink pretty much anything, as long as I have cream, lol

Canadians Visiting the USA while undergoing the visa process, my free advice:

1) Always tell the TRUTH. never lie to the POE officer

2) Be confident in ur replies

3) keep ur response short and to the point, don't tell ur life story!!

4) look the POE officer in the eye when speaking to them. They are looking for people lieing and have been trained to find them!

5) Pack light! No job resumes with you

6) Bring ties to Canada (letter from employer when ur expected back at work, lease, etc etc)

7) Always be polite, being rude isn't going to get ya anywhere, and could make things worse!!

8) Have a plan in case u do get denied (be polite) It wont harm ur visa application if ur denied, that is if ur polite and didn't lie! Refer to #1

LOL That's the funny part... I don't like coffee! But, since I found that I could handle flavored Starbucks, I tried Timmies' coffee... even their Mocha just wasn't the same. I'm sure many enjoy their coffee b/c of the strength! But for me, I need to hang with the hot chocolate at Tim Horton's. The coffee is just wayyyy too much for me. :) I defintely need gobs and gobs of sugar and tons and tons of cream in order to drink any coffee. Perhaps that's why I like the Starbucks?? Super sweet??
