i will go through the cr1 process, shall my wife in usa takes my family name before sending the i 130 as a proof for bonafide of marriage or it's a secondry issue that can be done during the embassy interview?

she has already made me a part in her accidental insurance and we got a joint bank account too.

that would be a secondary issue...we went through the entire CR1 process and my wife is still using her maiden name...while some might disagree, nothing more than a valid marraige certificate is needed for an I-130 approval...you being named on her accidental insurance and having a joint bank account is more helpful during the embassy interview...good luck

She doesn't need to take your name; many ladies in the USA do not take their husbands name when getting married because they are known in professional circles by a certain name or just don't want to give up their name.
