A good read for Good Friday tomorrow

Would be wonderful to believe a person died for you, loves you, and is constantly watching over you. And all you have to do is to accept him and follow a few basic rules. Charity is never difficult when you see a person in need that needs help and you are in a position to help. Unfortunately, too many are taking advantage of that and knock on your door asking for your money. Or that money is being used for frivolous things and not really helping people.

Then it doesn't help to really look deep or ask questions, like why did all of this healing stop with the Acts of the Apostles, especially when you had a loved one that really needed that healing. What does happen is all of your savings and retirement is gone seeking medical help that still doesn't work. But then you are told that God works in strange ways, and that person is in heaven, but no proof of that, anywhere.

It doesn't help to read the life of Christ when those that claim to know all about are not following his life of poverty, but really are quite well off and making a small fortune by telling stories and giving some verbal comfort.

Would also like to believe in Santa, the Tooth Fairy, the Easter Bunny, and even in our government, but easy to believe in, Slaves obey your Masters. So why was I kneeling down and kissing the ring of my bishop plus giving a large contribution, when he should be washing my feet. The entire religious community is loaded with hypocrites and the ones that I have met that were truly sincere, left it.

Then we are suppose to live in a country based on Christian principles, and the leaders are the worse ones, if you have an illness in your family and can't meet all of the expenses, they take your home away for back taxes,

Feel meeting my wife was a miracle, but certainly no one in our government happy about that, but treated like the worse criminal for over a five year period, no one there said they were happy for us. Hear people say that God is good, but people mess things up. Was also asked, what happened to all of those prophets, yes we still have them, just visit any mental institution.

So is there anybody above looking over us? Or his He on an extended vacation, then you hear, well he did give us free will. Always an answer for everything, but love that God works in strange ways, the best.

Still believe there is a truth, but just hasn't been revealed yet. Is asking for proof unreasonable?
