Hello,

Can you please share your Chicago AOS interview Experience with me.

Also, we have received my AOS interview for May 14th, 2009 at 11:28. Is there a reason why the time of the interview is for 11:28 and not 11:30?

I will have the following when I go:

0. Marriage Certificate and all corresponding AOS forms.

1. Two of the most recent Bank Statements (1checking and 1 savings)

2. Credit Card Statements

3. Two Photo Albums (1 Before Marriage, we were together for 8 years before we got married so hence we have alot of pictures from high school through college and etc.. and 1 for our Marriage Ceremony)

4. Car Insurance under Both of our Names

5. Utilities Bills in both of our names

6. Cell Phone Bill in both of our names

7. Att Bill in both of our names

8. Direct Tv Bill in both of our names

9. My wife's Tax Returns and Passport, which show our current address as additional proof of residency.

However, the only item we will not have are Joint Health Insurance. My health insurance is through my current employer and hers is included as a part of tuition for her university Will this be an issue?

Please let me know what you think or if I should add anything else to my list. Your opinion will be greatful apperciated.

Thanks to all.

I will only comment on the health insurance. Many married people, both USCs, have separate health insurance. The government cannot require you to have combined health insurance, BUT if it is separate, I would bring financial information to show why. For instance, bring a rate schedule for your company insurance, if it is more expensive to insure your wife through the company than through her school, it is a perfectly normal financial decision. The policies should show a common address. I don't think this will be a problem. The other items should be or are easy to change if they are not already in both names. I am not suggesting you cover something up, again many married people do not have cell phones or cable TV in both names, not all of ours are in both names because we are trying to establish some credit history for Alla in her own name. All the bills have a common address though.

VERMONT! I Reject Your Reality...and Substitute My Own!

Chicago is not a bad place to get interview in, as for the 11:28 God only knows  Good Luck

I didn't have health insurance as joint but I did have Tax returns and bill, similar to what you have. If you are really together I wouldn't worry about the interview... it will be a piece of cake.

I WILL SAY IT LIKE IT IS, DO NOT TAKE MY COMMENTS PERSONALLY
