From a K-1 entry standpoint, the only forms I need to fill out are the I-485, I-131, and the I-765 right? Do I have to file the I-130 and the G-325a again? I filed those 2 before for Lin's K-1. Also, do I need to send them another affidavit of support form with the I-485, I-131, and the I-765?

Ahhh! So much work, but so worth it.

Thank you all again

Ryan

Don't quite understand why you filed a I-130?

You'll need to file a I-864 along with finacial proof.

Beneficiary has to file another G-325A again. Petitioner doesn't.

Also, where do I find Lin's Alien Registration Number? Is it on her K-1 Visa?

For the I-131, do I also have to include the I-131 Supplement Part 7??

Sorry. I meant do I have to file the I-130? I think I filed the 129 for the K-1 before. Anyway... could someone please tell me all the forms I'll need for the AoS. I know that I need to pay $1,010.00 for some.. is there any fee for filing the G-325A again? I hope not because that's bs

I-485, I-765, I-131

Yes you have to send another G-325A just for your foreign spouse because it's a requirement to the I-485

Yes you have to file another Affidavit of Support, the I-864

and as far as I know you do not have to file the I-130...I didn't and we have our GC interview on the 29th

ETA - the $1010 is for the 485, 765 & 131, since the G325A is part of the I-485 there is no extra filing fee for that

The only form you NEED to fill out is the I-485. I-765 and I-131 are optional, but free if done at the same time, so why not? Yes, you will have to do a new form G-325a, for her only, which should be identical to the previous one except for "current address". Yes, you need another affadavit, the I-864 this time.

She will have a husband now who needs to be named (you). And her last name will be different if she is taking your surname. And she will have another name used, her maiden name. And her employment history may need tweaking if she had a job when you did the first G325A. The top line will be unemployed now that she is in the US (and not authorized to work).

Regarding "Form I-693 with the immunization section filled out by a US Civil Surgeon, signed and sealed by him. Read the instructions for the form."

Do we have to do this since she had her medical check in August '08 for the K-1 Visa?

I found this article, but I still don't quite understand

Ks: If you were admitted to the United States as a fiance(e) (K-1), child of a fiance(e) (K-2), Spouse of a U.S. citizen (K-3), or child of K-3 (K-4), and received a medical examination prior to admission, then you do not require another medical examination as long as your application for adjustment of status (Form I-485) is filed within one year of your overseas medical examination. You will, however, be required to submit a vaccination supplement with our adjustment of status application. The vaccination supplement must be completed by a designated civil surgeon.

I believe minimum is I-485, G-325A, and I-864. At least that is what I understand and am getting ready to do shortly.

You need to have a vaccine supplement. Many people on this site recommend calling Dr. Arnold and having him review your vaccinations and complete the paperwork:

Dr. L. E. Arnold

4534 Westgate Boulevard, Suite 114

Austin, TX 78745

Tel: (512) 444-3131

Fax: (512) 447-4699

He will charge only a small fee versus that 250-500 that others charge.
