This verse had a big impact on my husband and I.

My husband is in the US Army and stationed in different countries. I cannot deny that my husband is a very good provider, loving and honest. I know how much he loves me.

Once while he was in Germany, he and friends went to a bar, having sexual activities with the girls who work there. Four months later, soldiers were requested to donate blood and my husband was one of those who volunteered. While undergoing blood tests, my husband was found positive for Hep B.

I was so shocked when my husband phoned me with the news; he didn’t know how critical the disease was. After explaining the disease, he confessed to me about acquiring it from the woman he had contact with. This was very hard for me to accept however I knew that he was being honest with me and was asking for forgiveness. I cried for so many nights and after pouring out all my emotions, I forgave him.

I started praying to the Lord God to take the disease away from him. I went to church praying, kneeling and crying to our Lord Jesus to please do a miracle for my family. It took me months to pray about it: I was so desperate and frustrated. I continue to pray: it took me so long to hope and pray but I never stopped searching and praying to God.

One day, my husband informed me that he had an appointment with the doctor about his condition. Again, I prayed that this time a miracle may happen…and to my surprise, my husband was free of the disease.

I looked up to God and thanked Him for all the blessings He has done to my family. There is really a God who listens to our prayers and I strongly believe in the power of prayers! When God says He will heal you, He will do. Just be patient, wait because God knows when to award it. Praise the Lord.

God is in the miracle business. I could not even begin to tell of the many miracles I have experienced. Looking back, I should have been dead many times....but God!

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

Perhaps we should all pray for one our VJ members, Chris&Steph who's fiance Chris (USC) was killed in a road traffic accident recently.

My thoughts & prayers are with Steph & Chris' family. (F)(L)

2/24/09: NA02 APPROVAL... finally, after 9 MONTHS & 8 DAYS!!

5/5/09 : Interview Date APPROVED!!!!

5/8/09: visa received

From NA01 to interview: 12 LONG MONTHS!!

07/23/09: received SSN

08/17/09: Passed Driving test

08/22/09: Married on beautiful Mackinac Island, MI

AOS

08/31/09: Mailed AOS Package

10/20/09: Received AP

10/21/09 Received EAD card

12/7/09 AOS APPROVED!

12/14/09: Green Card arrived in mail. Happy Days!

It's taken 18 months from applying for K1 to receipt of Green Card! Thank God it's over until 12/7/11

Here we go again...

09/14/11: Mailed I-751 to Vermont

09/19/11: NA01

10/14/11: Biometrics

7/2/12: Approved. New Card Ordered

7/7/12: Green Card received
