If you want your GC in your married name use married name.

just use your husbands name on the form but don't forget to put your maiden name on the forms too.

Simply use your married name in all AOS forms. In the "Other Names Used" box, don't forget to write in your maiden name.

I used my Husband's surname......it really doesnt matter.....but if U want ur greencard with ur hubbys last name then u can start using it.

My wife, who is the US citizen here, simply (ha, simply) brought our marriage certificate to all the relevant places like social security, dept. of motor vehicles etc and told them "change my name in your records please" and started to use her new last name.

In all the USCIS forms there's a field "other names used" where she entered previous names.

That's all? Just use my new name on the forms?

I already have a SSN so I'll just have to change my name but will I need the new SSN card to file AOS or can I take care of the SSN and driver license later?
