Patient dumping is one of the most disgusting and shameful things that happen in this country. It irks me, big time. People treat freaking dogs better than they do poor people.

Very, very true. Solve World Hunger first before dogs.

The other side of this story, always two sides, if that if you own a home or property, the hospital can put a lean against that and even foreclose if you have outstanding bills, that also includes clinics, and even state owned mental health institutions. On the other hand, if you don't have anything, they leave you alone, can't get blood out of a turnip. And this also includes automotive accidents where the uninsured is completely at fault like running a traffic light and hitting you on the side.

Is this fair, when you have people working hard to pay for a home to live in and super high medical health insurance premiums? Hell, why work when others get it for free!

Cities like Chicago have that hospital shifting problem because they have this to send patients to.

But thei problems with hospitals like this, they have been beset by constant political problems since day one.

Yet another problem is that you can have been paying in high insurance premiums for years, have a family member catch a chronic condition that for the next year is considered a precondition, then kicked off your policy, that isn't fair either.

Peace to All creatures great and small............................................

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

no.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

Maybe not vilolent crime but many jails/prisons contain from 25% - 50% mentally ill persons. Before Reagan, they would have been institutionalized in a hospital for several years. Now they bounce around in the prison system. Mental illness does not make you violent, but many violent people ARE mentally ill.
