and your statement is hysterics at its' best

Peace to All creatures great and small............................................

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

How will it fare when there are some twenty million (if not more) folks who have not, and likely will not, contribute to the system?

Most illegals work.

Not really.

You can re phrase that and say

Most Illegals of working age work, then I will agree

I see many Illegal Woman who stay pregnant or don't work, and they tend to have numerous children.....

Seems like a general rule for Illegals that the bread winner is the male........

Most illegals work.

That's illegal, too.

so fine the employers and jail them..case closed

Most illegals work.

They may work but the don't pay taxes.

Most are paid cash.

Some will get a check for sub contract work and no taxes are taken out.

They simply go to the Check Cashing place and pay 1% fee to have their checks cashed.

Be a legal employee and you pay about 25% of your paycheck to taxes.

Seems like they may have the better deal in the long run............

We're talking about "if they get legalized". They're still mostly working people. The arrangement will change, is all. You're not going to suddenly see tens of thousands of working people suddenly quit their jobs and go on welfare

Question then is: if they are legal, then they have to be paid minimum wages and the employers have to start following the law too. Seems to me that employers won't like having all their cheap labor made legal, coz then it won't be so cheap anymore!

yah we probably won't see 'tens of thousands of working people suddenly quit their jobs and go on welfare'. but, we will have hundreds of thousands eligible for welfare & they will line up for it & it will kill the social services in every state.

The legislation would seek to prevent future illegal immigration by strengthening border enforcement and cracking down on employers who hire illegal immigrants, while creating a national system for verifying the legal immigration status of new workers.

horseshit & you know it.

someone earning $9-$10 an hour under the table supporting a family of 4 all of the sudden has 25% of their pay taken away. they will be looking for assistance & they will be eligible. + it most likely won't be hundreds of thousands but, millions.

Whatever. Your judgment is clouded by your irrational phobia of these people.
