I saw an exhibit on the Aztecs at the British Museum a few years back - their gods were REALLY scary looking. It was an amazing exhibit though, I'm so glad I saw it.

I just wish people would have more believe on their own self rather than relying everything on an Entity of some kind. Why can't one stand for their own faults stand for their own triumphs? For me personally it’s better to owning to your own self.

I tell you, they were scary and mean, the Aztec gods. They were, in most cases, an extreme representation of human emotion, though. And what I do like about them is the fact that they were not anthropomorphic, even if they had -most of them- specific gender.

The exhibit was one that was travelling the world and tickets sold out early. On display were sacrificial items, jewellery and statues of the gods. It was pretty amazing.

What I found even more shocking was the fact that the Aztec empire didn't last that long, around 200 years or so, until the Spanish came and killed them all to steal their gold. Made me mad!

Can I ask, when did God become Jesus? Or am I confusing stuff up here? This question is a genuine question - I'm curious.

When I was young, God was the guy up in the clouds and Jesus was the one on the ground. Now, they are both the same person. When did that happen???

I will never go back to relying on myself, I screwed up too much! haha. I will only rely on my Creator because He created me to rely on Him, for life here on earth and for salvation! =) You are entitled to rely on yourself, thats your choice.

i know that all of us believe some different and some might have issues with us thanking God for this or that but i for one am very happy with God!

as most of u know my visa process is so long its almost a joke......and i did pray why why me.......i found out last nov why and truly God does have reasons for everything that passes in life, and all is in Gods time not ours
