Hey Saspak bhai, just to let you know, called USCIS today as it has been 20 days since biometrics. Following your technique of dialing 123, it was easy to catch hold of the operator easily. Obviously i was transferred to a 2nd one as my case cannot still be seen online. 2nd one was bit un friendly but said the fingerprints has been recieved and the work permit is being processed. Hope i wd get the ead card within this month or the 1st week of the coming one. Thanks

Christera22: The second one always is a bitter pill, since he/she is the real deal:) I hope you get your EAD soon. If they have confirmed that they have your fingerprints on file, then it shouldn't be long. I received mine in a week and a half after they confirmed that they had received the Fingerprints. Let me know when you do.

Heres something interesting...... When I called, and they transferred me to the second Attendant(who usually is the real deal) I heard him munching on something and in order to get rid of me, so that he could go back to his Brunch, he simply said, "You'll know it when you receive something in the mail:)

Immi 007: I dont think they keep track of your calls, unless something's reported or seems fishy. I once called them 3 times in a day and asked for an update on different applications each time. Yes, you may call them, unless you place a service request. Then that gets recorded in the system and you have to wait on that. But usually you receive an email confirming your service request. I have placed service request thrice and each time, I have received Emails as well are paper mail.

Currently I am interested in knowing about the I-485 application. Dont know where its being processed and how far it has reached. Stay in touch. Also am waiting to receive the physical SS Card, so that I can go apply for the damned License.

Hahahahaha !! Saspak Bhai ........... exactly the same .......today I called again ...the 1st time i called the lady seemed to be very smarty type and just said if it less than 6 months that I have applied, then i need to wait. Just said thanks and bye. So after a couple minutes i called again :P . This time the person make me hold for 5 minutes and then transferred me to the 2nd one. The 2nd one had high indian/pakistani accent. Started saying something in a low deemed voice half of which i didnt understand and he was munching too. He said that my fingerprint has been recievhed and my I-485 & I-765 is being processed and the work permit will be on the way soon. When i asked him about I-130, he said its too early to talk about it and i wd come to know as soon as it comes. Looks like they dnt really care about us.....

Saspak, you never recieved a NOA 2 ....right ?? Stay in touch and i hope mine wd appear soon.
