First its plane hijack, then the presidents husband gets kidnapped, then the white house gets assaulted by a stereotypical tin pot dictator and now there is a bio hazard alert.

What I thought was crappy was how jack and his old boss were able to convince the president that the whole government was corrupt, but not provide any supporting evidence other than "trust me".

At the best of times the show relies on the FBI and CIA being riddled with moles or being monumentally incompetent, but this takes the cake.

You would think in this time and age, the CIA would be well-equipped with a plethora of cutting edge technology. However, this is not the case as evident within George Tenent (former CIA director) who took reigned of the organization. He said when I was appointed interim Director, the CIA was using outdated computers and databases (that's why on one of the raid by the airforce, a bomber mistakenly bombed a foreign Embassy in the mid-east). The reason that alluded to the lack of CIAs influence in government was the end of the cold war.

After George Tenet took care of re-structuring the organization, there was much improvement in terms of technology. However, the old agents were retiring. In a massive effort to recruit new workers and agents, George Tenent began advertising for college grad to come to work with the CIA. This happened not that long ago.

BTW, George Tenant has a Visual and Performing Arts Degree. I'm surprised that they appointed him tenure in the CIA.

Nickolai Tesla is alot smarter than Edison. I do agree with AC, Tesla have shown it to require less energy than DC and it could carry through longer distances. Power Systems Engineering 101. :D

Longer distances, gird switching, computer monitoring, that not bad, but computer control is, so we have a system that is vulnerable to sabotage. That is not good, not just taking out a city or two, but an entire section of the USA. This is a problem using engineers that never got past Power Systems Engineering 101.

Course was teasing about DC, but does have it's good points, static magnetic field, and more and more appliances, even your computer with switchmode design is essentially running off DC, after it's rectified and filtered.

Course, would never build power generating stations in California, Nevada is as closest as they are permitted. But a lot of money could be saved if they would up the frequency from 60 to 400 Hz, also a part of Power Systems Engineering 101.

Yeah, and then I could TIG weld aluminum with a battery charger.
