How much lying can Condoleeza Rice get away with anyway?

So the other day I heard all this talk on the radio about North Korea supposedly talking about firing a test missile at Alaska and Condoleeza goes on to threaten that if N. Korea goes ahead with this test then there's going to be trouble.

#######? They have ALREADY HIT ALASKA - almost 3 years ago now. Me and several other people have been trying to draw attention to that fact for years now and now this? I can't believe the blatant disinformation our propogandized "news" sources get away with these days.

Here it is in mainstream news that N. Korean has in fact already hit the U.S. with a test missile!

http://times.hankooki.com/lpage/nation/200...17272311970.htm

(for those of you who just can't believe it and think this is some kind of a Korean joke, it was also reported in BBC and if I can find it I will post it.

In March of 2003, while Saddam was carefully dodging the cameras, saying "we don't have WMD... we swear." Kim, Jong-Il was jumping up and down saying "we've got 'em... come on!!! Bring it on!!! Pick me, pick me!!! WMD right here...."

But, until we find oil in N. Korea.... there will be no "threat" from Pyongyang. I guess the fact that the economy is DEAD, there is widespread famine, and a brutal tyrannical dictatorship is in power... wait a minute.. this sounds familiar... oh.. NO OIL. I almost forgot.

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

Actually, they're talking about shooting any test missiles out of the sky with our wonderful missile defense system..... You know, the one that hasn't actually hit a missile in the last 10 or so tests.

From MSNBC....

"NBC News and news services

Updated: 8:08 p.m. ET June 22, 2006

SEOUL, South Korea - The U.S. suggested Thursday it has limited ability to shoot a North Korean missile out of the sky and spurned suggestions of a pre-emptive strike on the ground. Still, it warned the Koreans would pay a cost for a missile launch."

"Missile defense suffered setbacks

The nation’s missile defense system, which now includes about a dozen interceptor missiles in Alaska and California and on some Navy ships, has suffered multiple test failures since President Bush ordered the Reagan-era program accelerated in early 2001.

Missile defense experts disagree on current U.S. ability to destroy a long-range missile once it is fired. But they seemed in agreement that shooting at it — and missing — would be a huge embarrassment."

" The missile, with a believed range of up to 9,300 miles, is potentially capable of reaching the mainland United States.

Pentagon officials said they were prepared to use the nation’s missile defense system if needed.

Asked under what circumstances it would be used against a North Korean missile, Defense Secretary Donald H. Rumsfeld said Thursday, “The president would make a decision with respect to the nature of the launch, whether it was threatening to the territory of the United States or not, and the likely threat that it would pose.” "

Sorry. That last part was completely subjective, not meant to be a fact people should quote or reply upon.

The more accurate description of the tests....

"A Navy ship late last month successfully shot down a long-range missile in its final seconds of flight. Before this, Interceptor tests have failed at least five out of 12 times."

Apparently, they also tested it again yesterday.

Right. You can't, but others can.

As far as my knowledge goes - and that comes from publicly accessible newsmedia - one test was successful. The target was equipped with a beeper kind of device so that the defence missile could detect it plus the defence missile was programmed on the course of the target missile.

With these little "helpers" one test to shoot down a missile was successful. Heureka!

A lot. Apparently....

I get tired all of the ####### about Iran's nuclear programme being a threat, that's a case of selective reporting if ever there was one, seeing as they (Iran) have done nothing illegal with regards to refining and producing nuclear materials.

What it comes down to is Bush telling the Iranians that International Law doesn't apply to them.
