hello vj members!

i am so happy to tell you that i finally got my visa yesterday at the casa consulate!!:dance::dance:

i hade my interview sheduled for 6 april 2009 , i went there at 7 am , when i get inside i hade two interviewers, the first one was moroccan guy, he asked me :

how did i meet my husband?

when did u meet your husband?

when ur relationship turned romantic?

what is ur occupation?why did u shoose internet to look for a husband?

have u already get outside of morocco? with your husband?

pls give me the originals marriage certificate and it`s original translation. give me the court record and it`s translation. and the medical envelope .ok have a seat now, u will be called for the second interview.

i was sitting and waiting for my name to be called , then i was called by the white americain lady.

she asked me again:

when did i meet my husband?

how many times he visited you?

what did u do when he gets to morocco?

when was the last time i have seen him?

does he have brothers and sisters?

what does he likes to do?

how is his life in america?

why did u shoose internet to find a husband?

when did u start looking for him online?

why did u shoose an english speakers site for that?

u weren`t looking for moroccans right?

were u talking to many guys online?

i answered all the questions even if i didn`t know that she will ask me why i did shoose an english web site , but i quikely told her that i have inscreptions in many other french and moroccan sites , and i gave her the names of those websites , but i told her that i got desapointed each time , coz i didn`t like anybody and most of them are not serious!

then she smiled and gived me a green piece of peper. she told me to come pick up the visa tomorow 7 april 2009 at 15h!!! i didn`t beleive that! i told her that`s it?! i can go now?! she said yeah!!

i was surprised coz she didn`t ask me for the pictures , coz i braught with me 3 albums and 200 pics in an envelope!! she didn`t ak for the emails and chat history wish i took with me , i printed over 300 pages!!

thank you all visa journey members for your important informations whish helped me a lot to prepare questions for the interview.

i post my experience to help others who are still waiting for their interview

just be honest with them , don`t get scared , have a self confidence and pray god alot.

CONGRATULATIONS!

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

Congratulations, Nawal! My husband will be interviewing in Casa hopefully May or June. So the interviewer asked you for your original marriage certificate and its original translation, and the court record and its translation. But didn't she already have those in front of her in the file sent by the NVC? I just sent the NVC our original marriage certificate and a photocopy of the translation. (I sent the original translation to USCIS with the I-130.) I wonder if I should get another original translation for my husband's interview. He has a second original marriage certificate which he can take.

The court record that my husband got in March doesn't have any expiry date. I just sent the original and (original) translation to the NVC. I was assuming it will be valid for the interview. Do you think he'll need to get a more recent one?

if you already send the original documents to the nvc , you wont have to get more recent ones. because the nvc send to the consulate everything includ the documents and forms. i have sent just the copies to the NVC ,that`s why they required the origine copies at the consulate.i give them the original marriage certificate and when i picked up the visa they give it to me with the passport and a package that i should take to the us.

hello ,

thank you , and hope u will have a an easy interview too.

i didn`t pay for the visa. i didn`t file any other forms. i just signed one form , where i certify that all the informations i gave them are true.

i give them the original documents that i didn`t send.

u will have to bring 2 visa photoss 5cm/5cm , the appointement latter and the passport. they didn`t ask me for emails, chat, jointed bank account , western union receipts....but it`s good to have it. because in some cases they ask people to go bring it and come back for another interview. so it`s good to have it.

good luck
