Based on experiences,

when after you filed all your documents, do the consulate usually arrange the interview schedule?

In other words

how long is time interval between filling your all the required documents to the consulate and the interview?

Depends on the country. Took us 10 months for a K3. We made a BIG mistake going with the K3. CR-1 is a WAY WAY better visa.

HI, we went K3 through Jakarta. They appear to be one of the few embassies that actually communicate with you (if you are the USC)

We got the packet III by email. We did "document check" (6) weeks before NOA2. We did medical as soon as we got the NOA2. Turned in the documents (pre-checked) the day after the package from NVC arrived at the Jakarta embassy. The interview was scheduled at the window when the documents were turned in for (2) weeks later.

So:

Packet III in October, 2007

Police certificate October, 2007

Documents check October, 2007

NOA2/Medical November, 2007

Embassy received Jan, 2008

Interview/US entry Jan, 2008

We filed mid-June and she arrived late Jan. Just over (7) months. From embassy receipt of the packet from NVC to interview was just over (2) weeks.
