Lasname on Tax documents is shorter than US passport

Hi my lastname on my tax document, Paycheck and etc is shorten than my US passport, can this be any problem?

imagin my First name is "John" Full lastname is "Smith Smithy" !!! and I always used John Smith as my full name on every thing except my US passport and imigration documents, the only place that shows my full lastname is on my SSN statement, on my credit report is also shows, also known as:

John Smith

J Smith

J Smith Smithy

John Smith Smithy

is total cluster @#$%^ when it comes to my last name because the reall one is really long and it don't even fit my license!!!

Be sure in your petition and G-325a to list all names used, it asks for that. Attach a separate sheet if needed. Use your full name as it appears on your passport on all documents you complete. Do not worry about your tax forms, your SSN is on there and given the information you will provide I do not think it is a problem. If it makes you feel better attach a copy of the credit report and SSN statement. Why not?
