aw, it is really nothing a friend of mine got termed..i worked next to him for 5 years and he was exceptional...anyway, he and i shared accounts and were the top folks on our team..they decided he was expendable and had a wife and 2 kids...basically a corporate decision..the local folks had several meetings but in the end he was seen as disruptive...??? so, he was let go..i absorbed his cases and now have 2 times more than others..who are most slacker asskisser chopfucks...so, i a pissed over it..to appease me so i do not leave, they move my other friend on to our team to take his place... in the end,,it was just wrong...and a corporate decison on soneone they knew nothing about

awwwwwww, sorry to hear that Dean, and sorry for your friend.

A year 1/2 ago or so, the company I worked for decided to take a lot of their jobs overseas, so about 1/2 the people there lost jobs, including myself. For me, it was actually a GOOD thing, because I got to go back to school paid for,etc and it's been wonderful knowing I will be doing something I actually WANT to do instead of working in a factory my whole life. I had been there nearly 8 years. Some people there tho, were just devastated. A lot of them got together and went out drinking the night it was announced....they were told they could have the next day off. A lot of those had worked there from the very beginning of the company being here....about 14 years; I really felt SO bad for them as they have families too and had no idea what they would do next. We live in a small town, and that place was the town's biggest employer aside from the school. Hope your friend lands on his feet and finds a place that truly appreciates him, and your other friend will help to lighten YOUR load! M.
