Has anyone else noticed that animals seem to be more aggressive in this recession?

The community track where I go walking has a large pond with several geese and ducks. I was noticing that as of late, the ducks and geese just come up to the walking track and stare at me. There is this one with a red beak that I think could possibly be a turkey and it really just looks at me :o . I did not notice this behavior when I first started walking here almost ten months ago, but now it seems like these animals have an attitude. Has anyone else observed this with animals?

You can't tell a turkey from a duck or a goose?

Perhaps people can't afford to give the birds handouts because of the recession; thus, they have become more aggressive.

before the recession, these ducks and geese were used to handouts. however, wanting more like the goose that laid the golden egg, they voted for obama. they believed his claims of change and hope and are now left disillusioned and hungry as people are too broke to buy bread to feed these ducks and geese.

Sadly, the only wild animals I have seen lately are a few aggressive posters here on VJ.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

Other than temporally (meaning at same time), no relationship to recession. Due to people feeding them, ducks and geese have been getting more agro for at least the last three decades--basically, instead of appreciating the breadcrumbs, they come up and outright demand them.

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

Thanks for noticing that I've been around a bit lately! :P

Lady, people aren't chocolates. Do you know what they are mostly? Bastards. ####### coated bastards with ####### filling. But I don't find them half as annoying as I find naive bobble-headed optimists who walk around vomiting sunshine.
