NOW THIS IS THE PART WHERE WE START WORRYING!!!! TO BE HONEST, I`M SORT OF A PESSIMIST AND I TEND TO THINK THE WORST....BUT HOPEFULLY U GUYS CAN HELP ME WITH THIS!!! MY QUESTION IS: WHAT ARE THE POSSIBILITIES OF THE CASE BEING DENIED AFTER BEING THROUGH AN ADMINISTRATIVE PROCESS, HAS ANYONE GOTTEN A DENIAL AFTER AP???

Many embassies are different. My husband was in ap with another person. Both had 2nd interview schedule. My husband was approved he was denied.

Countries like India do not call you in for a 2nd interview. They say your AP is complete turn in your passport for your visa or they call say that you were denied.

Have you called the DOS?

I want to say you will be just fine!

You won't be denied unless there is some giant unlawful record on the part of your husband - you will be fine, I am bascially telling you you won't be denied - worst that can happen is you get put back in AP but that is rare as your embassy is pretty updated if it actually calls your home. So I think you should wait and your visa should be issued soon.

God bless,

Tam

AP: Over 1 year.

Visa: Nov 2

US Entry: Nov 13, Alhamdulillah.

Hi cuchita, actually the interview went fine, all documents and proof in order, but at the end of the interview the consul told us that everything was fine but they needed to put the case into AP!!! and i kept on asking her what was wrong and she just said ``don`t worry everything is fine, this is just something we have to do and u will be contacted by us`` that was it....until today we got the call.

Don't even worry about it. They CANNOT deny your LAWFUL relationship. They simply cannot. You will not be denied, everyone goes through AP and is afraid of what will come next, I have friends from your embassy nd know their cases - yes AP was issued to many but each and every one of them recieved their visas. So please, please do not worry, everything will be fine God-Willing.
