:( mary i am sorry.

let me tell you this. hopefully, the USICS will interview YOU. I tell the ladies whos petitions get returned to save all proof of valid relationship. keep communicating with your spouse. I got interviewed by USICS so maybe you can look at my signature and see what kind of questions they asked me. although, my petition got kicked before it went to the embassy, the reasons in the minds of the embassy could be the same reasons why they kicked mine early on. so chin up. you will over come this. stay focus and save ,,save ,,save,,

Ohhh Mary I am so so so so sorry to hear this sad news :( My heart goes out to both of you.

What is going on with Morocco ??? All these cases being sent back is NOT normal. And as Kiya mentioned, they are not giving any reasons for their actions, as they are required to do. Something seems very very rotten at that consulate. Insha'allah Kiya and all the others fighting for their loved ones there will get to the bottom of what it is, and force a major rehaul.

My thoughts and prayers with you and your husband, Mary.

:crying: This is TERRIBLE. What is WRONG with these people?????? I am SO sorry Mary, I wish I could do something. Those people are lucky I'm not in Morocco right now because I would go over there and kick some butt

Oh...believe me, I am thinking the very same thing. They are playing with people's lives here with no regard to the guidelines let along the rights of the USC. I think someone posted that it is a "privalege" to immigrate our spouses/fiances to this country to be with us...WRONG, DEAD WRONG! It is our "legal right" to immigrate them...just getting past this consulate leaves MUCH to be desired in regards to the current system.

Sma'liyah, I am on fire all over again!

After reading about all of these denials in Morocco anymore. Im not sure Im that I need to be so worried about a interview date anymore. It seems like they deny close to everyone there applying lately even if you qualify. Its like do you even have a chance? Are they just looking to deny people?

I'm so sorry to hear this Mary. We are also one of the unfortunate that had theirs sent back to the CIS. Mine was the CR1, but from others I heard that once they recieve the I-130 they will send that one back as well. Our I-129f came through after the I-130 and the consulate is holding it pending results from the I-130. Tell us Mary, who is the one that inteviewed your husband?

If there is anything you need to know, feel free to ask any of us. I have been going through this since 8/24/05 and Chiquita has been even longer. This really sucks!

By looking at Mary's 221g it is the same woman who interviewed my SO...only this time instead of signing as "Kim" she signed as "Kimberly." Regardless of the signature being near illegible, it is obvious the formation of the "Ki" in both signatures is exactly the same person signing it.

That's so infuriating! They owe you more specificity than that!

What do you have to do in Casa to prove a relationship? I mean, what are they looking for (or looking out for)?

I have run into a few cases where the applicant has family here in the US. This is what we believe happened in our case. They asked him if his sister "arranged" our marriage. Does he have family here? Also, have him send you a complete list of the interview questions. Maybe something will hit you.

This is exactly the same response we all get from Casa...the canned response they give to avoid giving a real reason why. I'm so sorry Mary, but it is worth trying. I pray this will be resolved for all of us involved...we just need to be patient during the wait ahead of us. Look to our other ME/NA sisters who have waited a VERY long time, they are about to be reunited with their husbands...they never gave up!

But one thing im not sure if this matters. But Ive read when you answer their questions just answer the question. Dont give them any thing more to bring up extras they might drag it out. Maybe he did that? I dont know just trying to help.

I think it is also important that your spouse/fiance is 100% sure they understand the questions they are asked. Abderrafie's English is quite good (he has placed in advanced classes) and we have no problems communicating. However, I notice from time to time when other people are talking to him, he doesn't understand a question. He thinks he does, he goes ahead and answers, but he has not really understood what they meant and has answered something else. Unless they (or I) speak up, it goes right past him. The guys may think they have understood and answered everything correctly, but may have gotten something wrong. The consulate should take this into consideration, but maybe they don't. I suggest if they have any doubt at all about what the conoff is asking, they ask for the question to be repeated and/or translated.

Thats kind of like what my husband does. He speaks English well but he might know the words but he isnt sure of their meaning. I think of alot of it is with him is there is no one to speak English around for him. So he forgets cause he hasnt used it in so long.
