221g Review Time

Thanks Rebecca for the great news.... May I ask how do you know it may take any where from a few days to about 6 weeks... Jackie

The Cheerleading thread used to keep track of Administrative Review and you can see that it used to average 3-4 weeks. More recently, they have been given the visas after a few days. It seems like Casa goes through cycles.

There also used to be an Administrative Review thread in another forum that tracked the processing times.

Nothing is set in stone, but based on how it usually goes, a few days to six weeks is probably a realistic timeframe.

I can tell you after reading about the many people who have been waiting for such long periods of time, this scares me a bit... I am told that on am AR in Morocco usally completes in a few days to up to 6 weeks.... Only time will tell.. I wish you luck. I find that prayer really helps... Jackie

Did they say why??????

Remember they MUST give you a reason!!! That is the law, they must also give you a change to overcome the denial before they send it back. More law.

I'm trying to add the image Atif sent me. And I haven't had a chance to talk to him.....his phone is off and he's not on-line now...probably not until tomorrow :crying:

Like Morocco ever pays any attention to what the law is?

Mary that's awful. Lets just hope that your I130 is not far behind and you can get an approval on that soon.

My I-130 is approved we got that approval 2 weeks behind the 129f approval......i just wanted him asap.....although I am NOT ALONE in this....lololololol.......who's to say that this won't ahppen with that too?

Mary,

Kiya is very familiar with this but as a K1. There are a few other women in my yahoo group who have experienced this with K-3/CR-1 visas, and I think they know what will happen with the I-130.

If you like, I can try to put them in touch with you.

Mary, I am so sorry. I know exactly how you are feeling right now.

Please Mary, if you need to talk, I am here. Feel free to send me a PM...I am not sure what state you are in, but we can talk on the phone if you are comfortable with that. I do have information which could help you stop the petition before it is actually sent back to the US...believe me, it is worth a try.

Oh Mary, I have tears in my eyes right now...please know I am here for you. <BIG HUG>

The group is http://groups.yahoo.com/group/MoroccanLove/ We branched off of Doreen's group. It is a small group, but 4 women have had their petitions returned. Three on K3/CR-1 and one on K1. I get the K3/CR-1 mixed up though, so off the top of my head I cannot remember which petition was returned first in their cases.

I really have no clue what is happening at Casa these days. It seems they are returning petitions with increasing frequency. My heart goes out to you and the other people in the same situation. What irks me the most is that they are not giving concise reasons despite the guidelines clearing stating they are required to do so.

Oh...believe me, I am thinking the very same thing. They are playing with people's lives here with no regard to the guidelines let along the rights of the USC. I think someone posted that it is a "privalege" to immigrate our spouses/fiances to this country to be with us...WRONG, DEAD WRONG! It is our "legal right" to immigrate them...just getting past this consulate leaves MUCH to be desired in regards to the current system.

Sma'liyah, I am on fire all over again!
