After applying for over 60 jobs I still have not heard of a response. My Job that I have now I am ready to throw in the trash can. They think since the economy is so bad they can treat you like trash. Everyday I get in trouble about something. A couple of days ago I was told not to take anybodys shifts. We have people called in all the time. They just don't want to work. So I would take their shifts but, not ughhh! I am the only one that has to scrub down the walls its not even my job they are to lazy to hired a maid. Anyways just have to Vent. I am a dietary food server living a great life. But what is up with this job. Has anyone else had this happen to them too.

My job is ok at the moment, but I got friends in IT that have been applying for the last 3 months, and none get a single call back. So is a tough world, and it will only get worst as the year progresses.

Because of the economy and hearing squat from any of the places i applied for, i had to go to a temp agency. They put me on a line at this factory where i can now barely move because my back is in so much pain, can barely straighten my fingers or my arms, have cuts all over my arms, all while having fibromyalgia. And I can't quit because then money will be pretty low so I'm trapped.

I would gladly take the job where I have to wash a few walls even though its not in my description.

Sorry, I really needed to vent too.

"We are doing good but, what is up with this economy" Uhmm... where have you been the past couple of years?

I say any job is a good job right now. I'm not one to be ungrateful though and I know that one's "crappy" job would be another's "treasure".

and now u have explained why autoworkers get paid so well. no one realizes what we do to our bodies in a days work. most of us are not college educated but our bodies are used as machines.

unfortunately, I don't. I got it through a temp agency so I don't get paid the company rate. its almost 4-5 bucks lower.
