It has to be Hellmann's (or Best Foods now that we live in Cali) or it is not allowed on any food item.

Duke's Mayonnaise seems to be the favourite down here. It's made in Virginia and the all the locals told me never to eat any other brand. I tried it and I actually prefer it to Hellmann's, much creamier and more natural tasting.

Miracle Whip vs real Mayonnaise

Miracle Whip has a sweeter taste. Sometimes children prefer it and makes them more willing to eat Tuna salad or deviled eggs. I never tasted Salad Cream...something about the name struck me when I first saw it in the UK. I made me think of hand cream.

Nick won't eat much whitish foodstuffs....no mayo, whipped cream, custard, grits, cream gravy, clotted cream, etc.
