Yeah, I was just going to bring one of our wedding invites and/or a save the date card but that's about it. Going back and making copies of receipts and things with vendors seems like to much of a pain! Maybe If I get ambitious i'll find the one from the ceremony site and the reception site, because that in itself will prove there is a wedding on a specific date. But yeah, I know its unnecessary, I think it would just add to the proof if we are even asked for any.

July09Bride- I think having you the eager little bride present will be more than enough proof...the gleaming smile cracked from ear to ear, will be proof enough! Haha!

My week has started out pretty crappy, and I'm feeling pretty under the weather...hope it fades...here's to hoping the week ends off better...I think i've hit a slump with all this prep, packing and financial ####### :( I need a serious pick me upper!!!! Lol'!

Ugghh I totally know how you feel! I moved all of my life posessions into my sisters garage and moved in with my Mom for the 4 months before I moved, and I was living out of a few suitcases. I always felt unsettled in that phase and couldn't wait to move on. But I'm here now and happy as a clam! So you're time will come too, and you'll be looking back in no time :D

Wow really?? I didn't start doing any concrete wedding plans until like December. Mostly because I'm lazy :P That and I didn't think I'd need that much time... I was probably wrong.

It will be over soon poprocks! I haven't been in the best of moods either. The stress of the interview looming over your head isn't any fun... especially combined with all of the other fun obstacles life has to throw at you. I've been starting fights with everyone and I think i've cried more over the past month than I have my whole life (but that's another story) The end is near!

I thought you were by Toronto? The weather's been great. Well ok, I won't stay outside either but at least there's no snow anymore!!

The interview is your countdown, once it's passed, it's over... 3 more days to go and D-DAY :)

So it ends up IRS is so busy, not only have we not rec'd trancsripts we ordered by mail 1.5 weeks ago, but my fiancé has spent 2 days on hold for 2 hours each time! Automated service says to call back after April 16th when filing due date passes....ah HELLO THATS OUR INTERVIEW DAY!!!! so my fiancé found a site that does expedited IRS trans, paid $75!!!!! Should be in within 1-2 days... So could be day before interview, if they have no probs!!!

Now I'm freaking out!!!! And all they will give him is 2006-2007. For 2008 all we have is a copy of what he filed and he will have a copy of his latest bank statement

I really hope it will be enough...if transcripts don't come, all we will have are copies of his filings and a back statement...so nervous!!!! I don't want any delays I'll lose it!!!!

You may lose it, but it will all work out. Think positively and explain whatever the situation is to them at the interview time. The worst that can happen is that you'll waita couple extra weeks...in comparison to the lifetime you'll have together.....it is NOT going to make a difference...I repeat...it is NOT going to make a difference.

Easier said then done, I know.....I freaked each RFE (we had 2) but in the end, I don't know that the wait was much worse....good luck! April 16th is my dad's birthday and he's a lucky happy dude...I'll think Happy thoughts for you.

It will all work out, honest! I know you're freaking out, and I can just hear you now, ranting & raving. LOL Here's the good thing. You've got a lot of supporting financial documentation. Does your fiance' have a letter from his bank stating what the total amount of deposits have been for the past 12 months? That might be something he can pick up today. I went into my bank and asked for it, and I had the letter in my hand within 15 minutes -- free of charge (yes, I know something was actually FREE during this process!). Other than that, with everything you have, I'm sure you'll be fine. In addition, he'll be there with you. A real live person is a great source of proof! (Especially considering he owns his own practice... he can probably tell them almost any they'll want to know from a form!) I'll give you the "inside scoop" on Thursday afternoon, when we're done. :)

Anyway... I leave to drive to London tonight and we're on the train at 7:45am tomorrow. We have a stop-over in TO from 10:00am - 11:35am and we arrive in MTL at 7:04pm. I need to finish my 3 days worth of lesson plans. Ugh... next time I login, I'll probably be in Canada!
