Petitioner tax filings

Just a question about that part ... Maybe I am way out of base but do we need to bring tax filings ????

I know they ask financial proofs like income, bank deposits, employer letter etc for the I-134 but I did not see anywhere where they ask for tax filings

I was told to bring last three years worth of tax returns for my fiance's Interview (I'm the USC) as well as W2s. These are not required, but they may requested to verify proof of income. They are nice to have, so there won't be a delay IF asked. Again, this is another safety net. :)

Forgive me if I am reading this wrong or didn't catch it in the other postings to the OP but I get the impression that your son is immigrating with you?

If so, then my understanding is you need the following:

DS-156: One form for each. (2 total, Not a copy of the first.)

DS-156K: One form only.

DS-230: One form for each. (2 total, not a copy of the first)

I-134: One form for each. (2 total, not just a copy of the first)

Your listing of documents doesn't match with this.

Sorry if my post was not clear... I have filed separate forms for my son, as well as 2 copies of all forms for him as well. He does not require his own I-134, as the I-134 allows a section to list accompanying children for additional support. I did file a separate 156, 160 and 230 for him... thanks for watching out! :)

They want the medical package, which has the results in there, it would make sense to bring the letter.

Even though they say it is not needed, I figure why take such a long trip without it. It is the same size as the xpress post envelope. I figure, people have been known to make mistakes...like mix ur med results with someone elses...LOL! The Xray for me is back up! Lol'!

haha thats true. I'd certainly be kicking myself if I heard the words "ok, now can I see your xray?" and here it is hanging on my fridge. LOL

I had googled another visajourney thread and that's where I found no one had brought it. I guess I'll bring it JUST IN CASE :P

Umm poprocks??? Your xray fits into your Xpresspost??? Ugh, I may have bought the wrong size. 12 X 15 is correct right?? If not, I DID hear they sell them at the Consulate. I think I'll risk bringing in mine. I have already been to 3 post offices looking for them. It's not like they will deny me for wrong size. The lady at the post office said it was the biggest one they had??? Oh well.

hahaha I know huh! I was gonna make a comment to that effect, but find that sometimes I am "misunderstood" on here, so who knows what type of replies that would have gotten. Glad you said it first!! haha ;)

By the way, breast size doesn't show up on xrays, but implants do ;)

Oh and I checked the weather for Friday SUNNY and 13!!!!! Well, at 6:50 am I doubt it will be. But ....at least it isn't rain or snow! I can't believe it is so close that I can check the weather.....man I am so excited!

That's exactly what I'm thinking is going to happen. Sunday, after all the Easter "stuff" and Monday after work are the times when I'm going to go through our info and double, triple, quadruple check everything. I may call you as another back up to everything I've got to take for the interview!!!
