I just wanted to say hi, since I don't spend much time around here anymore. Real life taking it's toll, between my lovely husband, work, the kids, and day to day stuff, I don't have much time.

Although it's gonna be time for my Removal of conditions in 2 months (whoa already huh), so I might come around a little bit more.

Good news, my mom is visiting me next month for the first time! It's gonne be her first time taking a plane, she is a smoker, she is claustrophobic, and she barely speaks english (hurray for the bilingual service or Air Canada). She will be spending 5 days with us, and finally will get to meet his family, about time since it's gonna be almost 2 years that we are married. lol.

Hope you gals and guys are doing good.

And welcome to any new person I haven't talked to yet on the Canada forum :) And congrats to any approvals/good news I have missed.

She really wanted to for the longest time. Just needed the $$ and the time.

But I did have to buy the plane tickets for her to make sure she would not chicken out of it. :P

Hi Mephys - good to have you back. Hope your Mom enjoys her visit with you - good for her for travelling for the first time on a plane. My Dad is currently visiting - he drove down from Ontario last week - 2 days drive - and he will be 80 this year. He is here for the week. He brought winter with him, hehehehe - he could have left that back home!

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”

hey Mephys.....I was thinking about you the other and wondering how things were. It's so good that your mom will be here to visit with you and get to meet your family. I hope our sunny weather sticks around for her visit and give her a break from the white stuff and dullness. Have a wonderful time with her!!!
