guess his staff didn't prep him very well ...

I agree. Blame his staff. No reason for him to be gun shy, unless he was not properly briefed. That is why they do walk-throughs. New staff. I doubt it will happen again.

Kind of like this incident. Why wasn't he advised about protocol here? Presidents don't bow to other heads of state.

Whoa!!!....That was a major gaffe in protocol there....oops. I am surprised the press did not bury him on that one, given the hoopla over the arm around Queen Elizabeth....

maybe he was prepared.. all I see him do his a little shoulder shrug when the gun went off..

if that was me I would have probably ducked and tried to find cover :lol:

there again ... maybe the salute ... missed? :unsure:
