I notice in the VJ timeline there's an "Instruction Package" received after the I-864 and DS-230 gets sent off. What is that?

after being issued a "case complete" we received an instruction packet regarding the medical, and a check list of any original forms that were needed at the interview (in our case none were needed as we sent all originals in with our DS-230) and most importantly, it included the INTERVIEW LETTER which in some case is needed to get the medical done....good luck

As I mentioned before, it is nothing but a formal e-mail from NVC. So even if you do not have it do not worry or if you want call NVC, may be they send it to you.

my only worry is people reading your post and wondering why they have not received the "mysterious packet 3", when they should be concerned with the medical exam and final prep in regards to the interview...
