Any gal had her cramps switch from the abdomen to the back, especially after having a child?

mine is always only in my back. i can barely move sometimes when that's happening. i take 4 ibuprofen and try to get up and move around. if it's really really bad i just go to sleep.

Mine is doubling me over more and more and making me so lightheaded

I have gained about 40 pounds already. That's how much they wanted me to gain for the whole pregnancy. My problem is, most of it was gained during my first trimester so I know it's not baby weight. It's just fat that's deposited itself on to my big @ss and thighs. Everyone that sees me says I'm all belly. But I just think my belly helps camouflage the fact that my @ss and thighs are now twice the size they used to be.

yeah for twins it's a perfect weight gain. and you'll be breastfeeding, right? it helps lose weight.

i used to hate people that would tell me it's all belly. Have u fukcing seen me naked, cabron? my thighs are like 10cm bigger than it used to be, my love handles are not so loveable and my arms are jiggly and fat lol. I'm just very good in hiding my fat, i know exactly what to wear.

For the first few years after he was born I didn't really have any cramps. Now they're in my back and getting worse.

Yeah, I'll be breastfeeding if at all possible. Everyone keeps telling me how hard it's going to be but I have to at least try. We certainly can't afford to do strictly formula for two babies. If I have to supplement with formula then that's fine but I definitely have to do mostly breastfeeding.

I feel the same way about the weight gain. I can tell I've gained it in other places because of the fact that my underwear I used to wear no longer fits me anymore. I haven't really gained any extra weight in my upper body besides my belly. I knew that's how it would be though. I have always been heavier on the bottom, hence my name on here. I knew all the weight I gained would go directly to my hips, butt, thighs, and legs. And it has. I'm just hoping it won't be that hard to work off once the little ones get here. Thankfully I have some "fat" pants I can wear after they are born until I do get back into my skinny jeans. *saying prayer to actually get back into my skinny jeans*

Yes, that is my exact problem. I mean, I only wore a size 2 before I got pregnant anyway. But my waist on my pants was always too big. I swore I could have worn a zero if my butt hadn't been so big. I'm having a hard time believing I'll get back down to my pre-pregnancy size 2 but if I can at least be a 4 I'll be alright with that. I'd really love to be back to my size 2 though.

Well, I didn't use to be. I'm only 5'3" anyway. So I'm very petite. I used to be a size 6 but lost a ton of weight when Javi was in Mexico waiting for his waiver to be approved, too much stress for me. I gained some of it back but not all of it. Then I started exercising and that just made me that much smaller. It didn't really affect my weight that much, just changed the shape of my body. I'm hoping breastfeeding will take off the initial weight and then once I can I'll start exercising again. That is assuming I have the time to exercise with two new babies.

I don't know about before they're crawling but once that happens you'd have plenty of exercise.

Thought of you today. Pedro and I might see the Toten Hosen in concert in June. I don't even like them that much (*ducks*), but they are at a huge fun fair, so I thought it might be worth it going.

I'm anxious to see how much I lose the few weeks after they are born. I know I have extra weight for the placentas, amniotic fluid, and blood, more than someone just having one child. So I know that is some of the weight. Plus, with my legs and feet swelling like they have been I know some of it is water weight.

some people lose 35lbs just like that. my case, like i mentioned before is different, because i gained everything on my second trimester and kept that weight all the way through the end of the pregnancy. so i know most of it was fat.
