She was cleaning Matilda's desk (dusting it, the clean-freak) and she said "at least when he comes back he has clean desk".

I would say seared scallops but I think we established last year that you don't like scallops. Maybe we should bump our ingredient of the week thread?

Nessa make grilled flank steak. Its so yummy. Cook it very rare and then cut it thin and on a bias. It's sooooo yummy.

Nessa make grilled flank steak. Its so yummy. Cook it very rare and then cut it thin and on a bias. It's sooooo yummy.

I like to marinate my flank steak in Catalina salad dressing, and then serve it with rice along with a butter caper sauce.

maybe potato gnocchi, maybe some kind of pasta.

nessa make a lovely roast chicken with a pan sauce and smashed potatoes and roasted asparagus

beet salad with goat cheese (can you have that while pregnant?) and some thyme

braised beef shortribs in red wine, some stock, and herbs

pork tenderloin with some type of mustard rub on the outside or even put some sort of crust on it

grilled or steamed fish

pasta with shrimp/clams

a tart with serrano ham & gruyere

How about some breaded chicken breasts stuffed with onion and chive creme cheese, first lightly browned in olive oil, and then baked?
