omfg I'm so happy that trip is over...it was soooooooooooo hot and soooooooo humid. it rained a lot and when it wasn't raining i wished it would because it would be a little cooler. the electricity only worked about 35% of the time. at night it was sooooo dark and creepy because it was so quiet. the smallest noises would wake me up. oh and i didn't shower the entire time i was there because the water was rainwater collected on the roof of the building, so i didn't know what type of bacteria could be growing in that big tank. wasn't worth risking getting something in my open incisions.

hey nessa...it's been 6wks since i had my arm surgery and it's still numb around my incisions. my surgeon said it could take up to a year for it to not be numb around them. i assume it would be the same for your stomach incision.

eta: as much as I hated it, I would probably do it again because i'm insane

Well swearing might not normally be my thing, but I think it completely express' my feeling about AP, which as it turns out was actually AR.

Flying out Wednesday morning. Considering I have been packed for the last 8 weeks, it seems like forever away.

I have a ticket, I'm flying out Wednesday, still waiting for the shippers to get back to me. In the meantime (today) John has managed to get a date for us to Marry and organised the preacher as well. Friday May 1st.

I'm not sure Nessa will appreciate it. But they way it works for us is, the calves are weaned immediately and then the practice is to milk at 4am and 4pm or if you are on a 3 x milking routine 4:30, 12:30 and 20:30.
