That sounds beautiful! I love the ocean. P and I had such a great time on our trip, it was heaven to have the scent of sea in my nose!

I haven't been camping in forever, but I am not much of a camper anyway. Last time I camped was in Australia in 03. I did a tour around the red center (Ayers Rock, Simpson desert etc.). For 10 days I could not shower or washmy hair or use a real toilet, that's how much of a survival trip it was. We slept in swags with sleeping bags, so no tents either. At night, we heard wild cow, horses and camels walking past our camp, it was amazing. We cooked on a bonfire with a griddle and sturdy pots. It was absolutely amazing and I love thinking back.

This was our camp at night:

While everyone else was in hiking gear (we hiked about 10 miles every day), I rocked up on a mini skirt, like a total dumb ####. Luckily I had some jeans and a jumper with me, since the temperatures dropped at night and I was freezing my ####### off.

What I disliked most was going for a wee late at night. You'd have to look for a bush in the desert, it's pitch black and you worry that you wee onto a snake and it bites you in the butt!

Do you go out to eat or do you cook on one of those little cookers?

we usually cook on the fire or a little propane stove...

this time we plan on eating out a few times too.. there is supposed to be a good seafood place close to the campground called, Neptune's Net

We went to a local seafood joint and everything was fried. It was yum, but I am not used to have it fried. If you go to a seafood place in Spain, you get a big platter with either raw or slightly garlic sauteed seafood. Prawn, mussels, snails, lobster.

But that little local place we went to fried everything to the max. It was still yum (and the hush puppies were the #######), but I would have loved some fresh lobster!

Also, I tried catfish and decided I don't like it. It tasted so muddy.
