So crazy drama happened while I was at work!

Del came home early apparently because he was feeling sick at work (head ache, stomach ache, both arms hurting badly, chest pains, vomiting, diarrhea, ect ect ect!). I called him just to say hello at 6 (he never called me) and his aunt answered the phone and said he was in the bathroom and would call me back later. I called back again like an hour later and his dad answered the phone this time (keep in mind we live alone and it's VERY strange for his aunt and dad to both be at our house at the same time!) and told me Del was taking a shower and would call me when he got out. I asked if everything was okay and he said everything was fine. Then Del finally called me 20 minutes later and said his dad and aunt just happened to come and visit at the same time and everything was fine and his dad was going to pick me up from work just because he wanted to. I asked Del why we weren't going to pick up my car from his dads house and he told me not to worry about it! So I asked what was going on and he said nothing!!

Then I get home, he's in bed and his aunt is still here and tells me they almost took him to the hospital because he was so bad. But they called his other aunt who is a nurse and she came and looked at him and said his blood pressure was fine (ect) and to see how he is doing in the morning. But Del made everyone swear not to tell me so that I wouldn't worry while I was at work!!!

So, now he's sleeping and I don't know what to do! Should I be worried? Should I be pissed that he didn't tell me what was going on? Or, should I be thankful he was nice and didn't make me worry while I was working since there was nothing I could do anyway???

I'm leaning toward the slightly pissed but relieved that he seems to be better, but still worried option!

(F) Sorry about the situation. And you shouldn't be pissed, he needs you right now, not the pissy person. I hope he gets well by tomorrow morning.

Thanks. And he's sleeping now, so that's good. He's been sleeping since I got home. Only woke up enough to tell me to turn the light off and that he wasn't going to work tomorrow. His aunt filled me in on the rest. It's a bit late here so she's going to stay here tonight as well.

But of course I wouldn't be pissed AT him...only at him in my head ;) But I think you are right....I'm worried!! If he's not better in the morning we'll go to the hospital!

Yes and no. He has a really sensitive stomach, always has ever since he was a kid. For example, sometimes when he eats, he feels sick after (but it really makes no sense. As he can eat that same food another day and feel fine. It seems to be depend on the time of day he eat it, what else he eats it with, ect). And he gets migraines every once in a while -but no more than other people that get migraines. He even went to the doctor about the migraines like 10 years ago and the doctor said they appeared to be "normal". He also went to the doctor about the stomach stuff when he was a kid and the doctor said it was mostly in his head and caused by him being nervous or stressed.

We went to a wedding on Sunday and ate LOTS of food, but the food was totally normal and he didn't eat anything out of the ordinary, but he's been feeling a bit bad since then. Yesterday he had a bit of a stomach ache and a bad headache, but this morning he was feeling okay. Then, so his aunt tells me, he didn't eat breakfast or lunch today, so that can't have helped. So, to conclude! He's had stomach and head problems, but not all of them combined and the chest pains were new

He turns 30 in about 20 days...maybe he's freaking out about that!? No, seriously, I have no idea what to think!

maybe he should see a specialist to rule out any gastro problems just to be safe

yeah maybe. I've asked him about that before and he always refers to the doctor he went to when he was a kid. But seriously, that was when he was like 5!! So it wouldn't hurt to go again. He has health insurance too...so he really needs to go. I'll talk to him in the morning.
