Sure, clearly Amby is being completely charitable with her time, very thoughtful. I never said I had an issue with thinking its odd that people strike up conversations with relative strangers (perhaps). I have a problem with the ewww icky poor trashy stupid chick in a wheelchair!

Sister, she does not have to be. Had it been me, I would have just walked away, or tell the woman to talk to a counselor. When I was Amby's age, I would actually have said really cool and sensitive ####### like "well, svcks to be you, now scoot".

As for the comment -- I think we're being a bit too sensitive. There are people who are trashy and slutty and stupid. With or without wheelchairs. The delivery might have ben too harsh, but the message was pretty clear to me.

I understood the point as well. I read it that Amby was telling us that the woman was in the wheelchair just so that we could have a better idea of her situation. For example, we're watching the movie of her life so we want to know what the characters look like! Okay, bad example, but you get the point I hope.

I like butter on my popcorn though, but not so much that my whole mouth feels oily. Cheesy popcorn is amazing too. Hmmm...popcorn. Love popcorn!

I was convinced of something quite similar sister LaL, and was not too thrilled of her attitude for a long, long time. I must say since then I have gotten to know Amber quite well in and out of VJ lately; and she is my friend. She is young, but not stupid; and is trying to change many things that have taken me decades to figure out. But then again, I am sure she can "defend" herself; not that she has to.

first of all, i allow people to talk to me..and i feel that if they do so, there is an inner need that is there..and if by listening for a few seconds and making an affirmation of them being worthwhile..that i helped in some small way..then so be it...

if others do not like this, i understand totally as sanita never talks to anyone in public...it is a comfort level...
