don't worry, bppty, i'm suire you'll have a great review.

i've been working for the same ''company'' since may 2007 and i still haven't had a review. first they eliminated my position after 10 months, 2 months prior my review. then i got that position at the gym for 6 weeks, still 2 weeks prior my review, then i quit, so after i applied for the position i am now, i had to start all over again. now 1 month before my 1 year i go on maternity leave lol.

  You managed to work that out just right. I never have a bad review. I just hate having the meetings for the review. I stress myself out about it worrying it'll be bad. It never is. I don't know why I do it every single time. You'd think I would learn by now it'll be ok.

Reviews are one of the lamest things ever. As if they counted for #######... ask Matilda.

Yeah, that's my issue with them. You do them but get nothing if you get a really good one. They were originally created to ensure people doing their jobs really well would get a raise. But not anymore. Now we're lucky to even get a "thank you for doing a good job".

Morning

It's rainy and overcast here again today. I am so sick and tired of this ####### weather we've been having. On another note, it's now 8:30 and I'm the only one in my office so far. I wonder if they forgot to give me the memo.

I agree Nessa. I haven't even been at home with my babies yet and I already dread coming back to work. I've already decided I'm going to try and find a part time job while I'm out on maternity leave. If that works out I won't be coming back here.

Hey kids

I am still in Tokyo. With 13 million other people and I might have seen them all in the last five days.

Just trying to upload my pics, but the internet is so slow.

I turned into an angry squirrel today. I am tired of the fact that no one speaks English in this country. I - again - slept until 2pm today, a full 14hours night (hello fatigue). After I took a shower I got online and Pedro told me that he had called (prolly while I was in the shower) and that the lady at reception had told him "madame did not come back last night". #######? Imagine I had a super jealous bf, he would have probably flown all the way over here to kick me in the ovaries, seriously.

Well, needless to say, I was at the hotel and asleep (like 3/4 of my time here in Tokyo  ). So when I left the hotel, I asked the non English speaking lady at reception for someone who spoke English. She gave me some dude on the phone. Who first did not understand my problem and then didn't care about it. All he said was - we didn't know you were in your room. Well, just say, I am not in my room and not make ####### up! Geez.

Other than that I had a good day. Bought a gift for my Mom and later realised that 16,000 yen is roughly $150. Oh well.

Booty, has anyone showed up yet? I can relate to your feeling. I have had that a couple of times.

I wasn't talking of a permanent thing, just while he's a baby. Right now i dread the idea of putting him on day care for a full day, with all those sick kids, plus i don't think anybody is good enough to take care of my baby. Nothing substitute his mother.

But I'm not doing that. First we need the cash, second I have a good job and I know it'll be difficult to find a good one later on with not having my college recognized and not being a US citizen. And I've always needed to work, because I just can't stand being at home having nothing to do other than clean. I'm not cut out to be a housewife, but I would enjoy spending more time with him.

It would be so great if i had my own business or worked in one of those companies that allow you to bring your baby and put him in a crib in your office (yes, they exist here in Kansas)
