ughhhh...my family is lame and hates most things I make because it's too complicated. one time my grandpa was making a recipe completely wrong and when I told him it needed to be chopped smaller he told me he was making it "german style" because he was german...too bad his family came from france

 He sounds like my grandpa (mom's side). He would always sneak in the "NORTH of Spain style", as if that made it somehow more special than, say, the south of Spain  He was a lovely man. AND an awesome cook. I miss him :(

Marina...and anyone else...for quick chopping you need these things...

OOoooo...those are pretty!!! That's one of the things I want to get as a 'welcome home' gift when Del and I move back to the US (middle next year). We're getting married here but then having another ceremony when we get home to the US for my family since they are not coming here.

Update on that as well:

I think I mentioned before that we have been waiting for his divorce certificate since Oct 2007 now (they split in 2005 but due to b!tch that lied about filing the papers, it was finally filed in 2007). Anyway, in Oct 2008 we were told 4-6 weeks and we're still waiting now, 6 months later. BUT, on Wednesday we were finally told it will be ready in 2 weeks. I'm not sure if I believe that, but it's a step closer anyway! Maybe next month I'll finally be married! :)

(F) I miss my grandpa too :(

 she may need those knives, to kill the ex

He's lucky...I left him in London

Here comes the Bride....

with her new Knives...

WAIT, that sounds wrong :jest:

What should I think of this:

I started teaching this lawyer today in his office building in São Paulo. He was 33 and very nice. Not nice in a creepy way though at all, just very friendly and talkative. The school that set me up with him told me that he had another teacher before me for about 2 weeks but he told them he didn't want that teacher anymore because it was a guy and he wanted a female teacher........

Like I said, he didn't seem creepy to me and I told him the reason I'm here in Brazil TO GET MARRIED....but that's weird, right?

I'm sorry

Ok sooooo...I'm still reading my Prevention magazine and it says they did a study and 1/2t of flaxseed oil a day helps give you better skin. Women who did this for 12 weeks saw a 45% reduction in redness and 25% less water loss resulting in smoother, softer skin

I was very lucky in the skin dept. My sister has horrible acne everywhere and I get like 1 pimple a year. I would freak if I had to put on tons of makeup all the time to make my skin look smooth.

Oh btw I was at Target and remembered I needed some new chapstick...I decided to buy this stuff because it was on the aisle I was on

Anyways, it surprised me! My lips are looking/feeling even softer than before.

do I make brunch or lunch for my mom on sunday?

Check my FB for my thoughts on "mother's day" Amby...

When I first read it, I was like #######? You know I can't read that ####### very well because my spanish teacher was a drunk! I agree with you Len, I love my mom all days. I make her dinner every Sunday night, but I thought I would do something different this Sunday.
