looking for some low-cholesterol recipes for picky eaters...suggestions welcome

what types of things do the picky eaters like?

I'm making pea & ham soup. I just felt like chopping a bunch of stuff up. Doing food prep is really relaxing for me.

Now I want to go chop up lots more stuff

Bren loves that soup... me, not so much :dead:

So I am shipping him over to your place. Yesterday I made some tikka paneer from scratch and the chopfvck did not eat it. :ranting:

I will eat it, but I don't crave it. The only dry things I had were brown lentils, split peas, black beans, and navy beans, so I decided to go with split pea. I'll probably ship it over to my aunt when it's finished :P I think I will bake some bread and cookies tonight. I was supposed to go to Seattle this weekend, but my friend had a family emergency and we had to reschedule.

Arg, I had an ex that did that one time (actually see signature and previous K-1 visa )

We didn't break up for this of course but it really pissed me off!!! I was like 22 at the time and just learning to cook all sorts of stuff on my own. So one day I spent HOURS making lasagna -vegetable, no meat, so LOTS of veggies (now I can make it faster of course, but chopping things up is difficult for beginners!). So I spent hours making it and had it and really nice garlic bread with garlic butter (that I had also made) all ready for him when he got home from work that day. And you know the first thing he said..."why aren't there french fries?!"

I'd never heard of having french fries at the time with lasagna. And I said that and also reminded him that the night before I had asked him if lasagna with garlic bread would be good for the next day and he had said YES! But no, the lasagna was okay he said, but it just didn't taste very good with only bread and would have been better with fries. ** YOU!

If I make something new and Del doesn't like it, that's totally totally okay! But you better damn try it and appreciate my effort and simply tell me maybe it would be better with X or without X, but don't walk in, see my beautiful work and say "where are the fvcking french fries?"

Okay...I'm mad again and this was over 3 years ago :bonk:

oooh according to a study in prevention magazine, one out of every six cups of decaf coffee from three restaurant chains contained more than 20mg of caffeine

Decaf coffee gives me headaches. When I started teaching, my doctor put me on a decaf regime because I was jumpy and super nervous.... result?? I ended up jumpy, nervous, and b1tchy.

:o OH MAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAN. I had one like that, too. I love cooking; and I love presenting food in fancy ways. A dooood (that shall remain unnamed, but we can refer to as SmallDick ) dared say this to me "why can't you cook like normal people do? like my mom?". Answer....

And I NEVER, and I mean NEVER cooked for him again.

ughhhh...my family is lame and hates most things I make because it's too complicated. one time my grandpa was making a recipe completely wrong and when I told him it needed to be chopped smaller he told me he was making it "german style" because he was german...too bad his family came from france
