my right shoulder, upper back and arm hurts so much i think it'll fall off. I can't find a comfortable breastfeeding position, plus he's always on my boobs, and I try sitting down, lying down, one arm, the other arm, etc, I need a massage!!

Are you using one of those boopy pillows?

Saludos,

Caro

nessa ... a good quality bf pillow does help some. it takes adjustment to get comfortable ... and it will relieve pressure.

Oh .... do you sleep with Ben by your side? On your arm?

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

His teacher had told them she had headaches and was really sick in the hospital. Don't know how the principal and counselor will tell the kids she went from the headaches to a tumor. We're wondering if they're going to freak out thinking every time someone has a headache they're going to die.

no, i'd never sleep with him in my arms or by my side.

When i bf in bed i have 2 positions.

one i have my pillows on my back, i'm in a 145 degree angle, i put a pillow by my side to help support his head, similar to this pic, but his legs are not under my arms, they're the other way around, like butt next to my navel.

footballcolor.GIF

or i'm lying down on my side, his head is resting on my upper arm to help keep him latched. the picture doesnt show the arm under his head, but my arm is extended under his head or he wont stay latched appropriately

lyingcolor.GIF

if i'm on the computer i sit in a cross-legged position, put a pillow on my legs and he lies down on it, and even though i try to rest my arm on the pillow, i have to hold him to keep him latched.

tailorcolor.GIF

my issue is that he doesnt hold his head. no matter which position i am bf, my body can never be straight, i''m always inclined to the side he's eating, my arm is always holding him n that''s killing me.

My son didn't seem to be bothered about the headache story, even when I used my headaches/migraines as a comparison. I just hope he doesn't get scared now.

EMAIL FROM TEACHER

Parents

About three weeks ago, Katie complained a lot to me about having headaches. Her parents took her to the immediate care to get her checked out. They sent her home saying that she had an ear infection. The next day, she was very disoriented. Her parents took her to the hospital and she had two strokes. Ends up, Katie had a brain tumor. She has been in the ICU at Riley hospital since that day. She had not woken up or breathed on her own since that day.

Yesterday, the kids all got off the bus saying that Katie's brother had told them that Katie had died. This was brand new news to me, since I have talked to the mother every few days. We pulled the brother out and it turned out that Katie had not died, but that they were going to take her off of life support by the end of the week. The counselor came in and talked to the kids about Katie and told them that she was not dead. I had been an emotional wreck all day because of all of this, so I left early. They had a sub for the rest of the day.

I received a phone call yesterday at about 6:00 from Katie's aunt. Katie ended up passing away at 2:00 yesterday afternoon. They had conducted another MRI on her and the doctors said they could do nothing to save her. The principal and two counselors came in today to talk to the class. It’s a very hard day for all of us. The kids are in a state of shock right now. I just wanted you aware of this for when they come home.

Katie was a very sweet girl and she will be very missed. I just keep reminding myself that she is not suffering anymore!! The showing is on Friday from 4:00 - 8:00. The funeral will be on Saturday at 11:00.

There will be a letter coming home tomorrow to all of the parents. However, if you have any other questions, please feel free to contact me!

Take care!
