good morning everyone :)

first full workout in a little over 8 weeks and I seriously kicked my own ####. everything is sore, but it's that sore feeling where you know it's a good one? :lol: does that sound nuts? i'm so happy to be able to hit the gym again.

I was reading in a book that really put down dry cat food. Said it's more like snacks and sweets for humans than good food.

I feed Cleo a mix of dry and wet food. my vet said that is the best to do. The dry food for the teeth and the wet food, in case they don't drink enough water. She always has a bowl with dry food out there and gets a Sheba bowl once a day.

Like this. Nasty stuff, but she loves it. *gags*

We tend to give them dry food all day and wet food at night. They eat it up so fast we don't have to worry about the "don't leave it out for more than an hour" note they always seem to have.

:lol: My old cats used to be like that, but Cleo takes her sweet time. She happily noms her wet food for a few minutes and then eats the rest over thre course of the evening. Luckily my kitchen floor is nice and cold, so I don't have to worry about the food going off.

Just checked the German wet food and it doesn't even have a note like that. :lol:

The adult cat was one Benny adopted - neighborhood strey. He just named her Katze (very original right lol). Since she had the kittens I call her Mama. The kittens I named Curious George & Garfield.

Good Morning everyone,.....:)I just realised I need to send mothers day cards off today, if theres any hope of getting them to OZ by Mum's day,...lol.

Thank goodness Fathers day in Oz is in Septemer. I just need to remember to buy dad his card in June when its US Dads day,....lol

The timeline... (Frankfurt) for the kids visas

10/22/2007 Filed I-130 x 2 in person + paid 710 USD (355 each )

10/22/2007 Filed DS-230 part 1 x 2

10/22/2007 Received the document checklist and FRN (case) numbers

12/18/2007 I-130 petition approved, but I didn't know. I was away at the time, didn't get confirmation letters til I got back from the states.

12/20/2007 Notice of Approval arrives in tha mail. According to the date received stamp on back of envelope at my post box.

Will now wait til hubby is back from Iraq to fax in checklist readiness, even though, I have been ready since day of lodging I-130's. all except medical.

02/18/2008 Faxed the "checklist" back to the consulate.

02/25/2008 Medicals completed.

02/25/2008 Appt letters in mail for appt on March 7th. Cant go due to prior military commitments. Emailed consulate and received an amended appt date of March 12th 2008.

03/12/2008 Visa interview - APPROVED x 2

03/27/2008 Visa's finally generated. I emailed the consulate. they apologised for the delay. They forgot to issue the visas after approval.

03/31/2008 Received visas

04/26/2008 Flying out of Frankfurt to next duty station on orders.

Hey Everyone!!!

We still have no internet at my house! :( It's crazy! The net originally stopped working because it rained and the rain messed up some sort of cable or something. They said it would be about 5 days, but it's been 3 weeks now!!! They supposedly were sending a guy out on Wednesday, but he didn't come and he didn't come yesterday either and now it's a holiday here (labor day)...so arg!! I'm so annoyed!!

But this weekend it doesn't matter because I'm going to Curitiba! Del is a high performance auto mechanic and the garage that he works in sponsors 6 cars that race around Brazil. So this weekend there are races on both Sat and Sun in Curitiba (about 6 hours south of Sao Paulo). So, we're all going down there. They rented a bus and are paying for the hotel as well...so I can't complain! We're leaving at 1 this afternoon, but we had to get to the garage at 9 this morning so the guys could put the final touches on the cars...hence me being here...sitting in the office enjoying free wireless internet for the first time in 3 weeks! What have I missed in 3 weeks???

Curitiba is my city, Marina. My favorite city in the entire worl (between the cities i've been to).

I was finally able to do a full workout again!!!!!!!!!! :dance: :dance:

another 3.5 weeks for me. i think it's been 3 months since my last (slow and careful) full work out and 9 months since my last regular full work out :P
