My fiancee and her adopted son will be coming to the US on the K-1 (and K-2) Visa. I have a few questions related to the documents that are involved.

I believe I understand what is expected on all sections but have the following I'd like to clarify:

DS-156: Only 1 form required (for both)?

DS-156K: Only 1 form required (for both)?

DS-156K: Section Marital Status: How and When was Marriage Terminated: What so they mean by How?

DS-156K: Accompanying Documents: She is divorced so I need her divorce decree, right? But do NOT need her marriage license?

DS-230: 1 separate form for each (2 total)?

I-134: Question 10: Do I list Fiancee on one line and her son on the next?

I-134: I thought I needed to complete 1 form for each (2 total)? Is yes, then I assume that for her son, I list none under children accompanying in Section 3? But what about section 10? Do I still list both?

Tnx in advance, Phil

You will need one for each applicant. Note: You can save time filling out the online DS-156 / DS-1648 application form for family members by using the "Generate Family Duplicate" button located at the bottom of the online DS-156 / DS-1648 application form.

DS-156K: Only 1 form required (for both)?

One.

DS-156K: Section Marital Status: How and When was Marriage Terminated: What so they mean by How?

Divorce/death/Annulment

DS-156K: Accompanying Documents: She is divorced so I need her divorce decree, right? But do NOT need her marriage license?

Correct.

DS-230: 1 separate form for each (2 total)?

Correct

I-134: Question 10: Do I list Fiancee on one line and her son on the next?

Yes

I-134: I thought I needed to complete 1 form for each (2 total)? Is yes, then I assume that for her son, I list none under children accompanying in Section 3? But what about section 10? Do I still list both?

Yes, each alien needs there own I-134. Correct about section 3. Yes, you list both for 10.

Tnx in advance, Phil

My Advice is usually based on "Worst Case Scenario" and what is written in the rules/laws/instructions. That is the way I roll... -Protect your Status - file before your I-94 expires.
