I was hoping that people who experienced cancellation of their initial interview by USCIS (due to unforeseeable consequences), can relay their stories.

Did you go to your original interview?

THanks big time

Hi, we had an Aos interview that was cancelled but we went to the office anyway had our interview and just recieved the greencard.. Our appointment was set for March 19,2009 we recieved the 10yr green card March 26..I would advise everyone who gets a cancellation notice to still go to the interview and see if they can get in to be interviewed. good luck

I agree with the above poster. Go! I have read that those who didn't show up due to the cancellation notice were denied because they didn't show up.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.
