What time should my fiance show up in front of St Lukes if she wants to get a good place in line?

Her interview at the embassy is scheduled at 7 AM. What would be the best time to show up for this?

Also what are recommended hotels to stay at for both places? Can I call and make a reservation over the phone from the US? They may not accept credit cards over the phone. Is there anyway to make a reservation without paying yet?

First of all the medical is first come basis but it is not that important to be there early since each day is about 4-5 hrs. She can go in around 10 and will finish in early afternoon if she wants. They process people all day.

If she has a 7 am interview getting there at 6 am is fine just tell her to go to gate 2 or 3 (next to each other) because they use both. Tell her don't stand and wait in the console area outside because that is for visitor visas, go directly to the gate and get in line there.

My wife and I stayed at the City State Hotel which is walking distance to both the medical center and the Embassy. It was nice rooms and was not expensive. (1550 pesos a night) You can make a reservation over the phone and she can pay when she arrives.

The medical is 213 USD about 10500 pesos. she will need to pay the visa fee of 400 USD and the Air21 fee which varies depending on where she lives in the Philippines (about 240 pesos). I can't think of any other fee missing but I am sure someone will correct me if I missed one.

She should go there as early as possible.. maybe around 5:30 am. St.lukes open around 7:30 i think.. this is a first come, first served basis.

Be at the embassy, still around 5:30am.. better to be early.

When I had my interview and medical, i stayed at Eurotel Hotel. Its cheap yet very nice place. I am not sure about reservations...

I've read that medical exam fee is already $213.35...

DS-156 fee is $131.00

Other fees in the embassy is visa delivery.. not sure how much right now.

mmw IS INCORRECT

Nonimmigrant visa fee is $131 paid with the DS 157 at BDO before the interview. $400 is for immigrant visas paid to NVC months before the interview.

Yes, vaccination fee is already included in the medical fee that the beneficiary will pay.

I think it's DS-157.

The $131 should be paid in any Banco de Oro branch. The bank itself will give her a blank DS-157 where she needs to fill it out. The validation of the bank will be stamped at the back of the DS-157 that the bank will issue. This will serve as a proof that she paid the $131 fee. Let her bring the DS-157 with the bank's validation at the back on the day of the interview. Bring the BDO receipt as well.
