Hi guys,

We are K-1 applicants and my fiancee is my sponsor, for q.1 do we check answer (a)??

The question appears a bit strange as it says 'I, Fiancee name am the sponsor submitting this affidavit because' then answer (a) is I am the petitioner. I could be completely wrong but I thought I was the petitioner so it seems strange for her to say she is the sponsor and the petitioner??

The petition is being submitted on your behalf. The USC petitions. The immigrant is the benficiary.

BTW, are you married or not? In another post you mention that you are a spouse. If so you want to go CR-1 or K-3, not K-1. (CR-1 seems to be better. Fewer fees, green card when you arrive)

Also the I-134 is used when filing the I-129f, I-864 is used later when adjusting status.
